Development of a web crawler for analysis of the energy consumption labelling of household appliances in internet shops according to directive 2010/30/EU for the German Federal Institute for Materials Research and Testing (BAM).
The system supports its users in finding and analysing household appliances on the internet. An OCR-based automatic recognition of product features based on data sheet, energy label and product website is carried out, allowing to categorize and tag the products.
